Shabbat Services

Join Temple Beth Israel as we celebrate the Sabbath together. We are resuming in-person services starting June 4th. In-person services will require masks. Please view the calendar for the most up-to-date schedule.

We will also continue to make services accessible to everyone via Zoom.

Our services are a mix of English and Hebrew, song and spoken word. Designed to be accessible to those with all levels of Hebrew knowledge (including none!), our prayer book, Mishkan Tefillah, provides comprehensive transliteration of Hebrew passages.

About Shabbat Services

Most often, we have services at 7:00PM on Friday evenings, and they last just over an hour, concluding with an Oneg (light dessert offerings and socializing) in the social hall.

In general, the first Friday of the month services are at 5:30PM making them more accessible to families with younger children. These services are sometimes preceded with a congregational potluck; please check the calendar for exact dates and times.

From time to time, we hold Shabbat morning services in place of our evening services.

Please check the calendar to see a schedule of upcoming services. We welcome visitors, and would be delighted to have you join us!
